GOODBYE HEARTBREAK, HELLO HEALING, Healing Broken Hearts, Empowering Women, Scriptural Healing, Find Your Love, Single Women, Christian Singles

Do you feel heartbroken over a recent breakup? Did you think he was “the one”, but it turned out to be another failed relationship? Are you feeling like you’ll never find “the one” for you? Do you wish God would just bring the right man along so you can be happy? In this podcast I will share my journey of looking for love in all the wrong places to finally finding the true love I needed and how that led to me getting into the right position to be married. I had a lot of work to do in my single season. When I finally put God first in my life and truly gave Him my heart, I became content as a single woman. Then, and only then was I ready for marriage. I will share all my tips and insight on healing and moving on after painful breakups, growing close to God during heartbreak, and how to get into position to have the deepest desires of your heart (i.e., marriage, children, etc.). If you’re ready to ditch that broken heart for healing and wholeness, you’re in the right place. Hey Sis! I’m Kandice–a faith-led wife and mother of 3. I’m carrying out the call God placed on my life by helping women heal and move forward after breakups. While I love my life now, this wasn’t always the case. I remember being single, thriving in my career as a school psychologist, and faking a smile everyday. People thought I had it all together on the outside, but inside I had a broken heart and was unfulfilled with my life. The cycle of failed relationships began to make me have thoughts like, “What’s wrong with me?” and “Why am I not enough?” I desperately wanted to find the right man for me and get married. So I went from relationship to relationship; but instead of finding my soulmate with whom I would spend the rest of my life, I found disappointment and more heartbreak. Then, in 2015, my heart was shattered, and I knew something had to change. I finally realized that if I was ever going to truly heal my heart and be fulfilled, I was going to have to partner with God in the healing process. Through healing and connection with God, I finally felt whole and complete. I learned the proper way to heal and grow my relationship with God, and I want to help you do the same. Plus I have tips to help you get ready for future relationships, so when the right one comes along, you’ll be complete and lacking nothing. If you are ready to finally heal your heart, stop going from failed relationship to failed relationship, and grow your relationship with God in the midst of it, all while becoming the woman you want to be who is ready when the right man comes along–this is definitely the podcast for you. 🚨🚨Trigger Warning🚨🚨
Today we are talking about a sensitive topic. It’s suicide prevention week; and as a mental health professional, I think it’s important to highlight the topic. If you or someone you know struggle with suicidal thoughts and need help, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
Have you ever had thoughts of suicide and condemned yourself because you felt like you shouldn’t have such thoughts because you are a Christian? Are you questioning whether or not you should be concerned because of subtle behavior changes by someone close to you? Are you wondering how you can support a loved one who may have mentioned having suicidal thoughts? If so, this episode is for you!
I have a special guest, Cheska, who will share those warning signs, prevention methods, and ways to get help.
Cheska is a Mental Health Advocate and host of the podcast Do I Have ADHD?
She’s on a mission to guide and encourage squirrelly brains from feeling unequipped and overwhelmed to capable through self-compassion, perspective shifts, and God’s grace. Cheska has spent almost a decade working in special education and navigating her own ADHD. She’s a mom, wife, speaker, and coach who loves sharing unique approaches to daily struggles for people of all ages with neurodivergent brains.
If you’re finding it hard to talk about suicide, whether you’re the one struggling with the thoughts or you know someone struggling with the thoughts, this episode will definitely give you some tips and encouragment.
So turn me up in those earbuds and get ready to take some notes! We’re about to dig into it!

026. Minisode: Expose the Pain

Wednesday Sep 07, 2022

Wednesday Sep 07, 2022

Hey Sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday in the month of September, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about healing by feeling. The scripture reference is Proverbs 14:13 (NLT).
If you think you’re helping yourself by numbing the pain from that breakup, think again! The only way you’re really going to be able stop the pain and heal, it may seem counterintuitive, you have to feel the pain. You have to expose the pain for what it really is, so it can be treated properly. So turn me up in those earbuds! We’re on a healing journey!

Hey Sis!
Today’s episode is juicy! Be honest! I know you want to get back at your ex who hurt you and broke your heart. Maybe that’s a natural feeling that comes from our flesh, but what should we really do?
Sis, I don’t want you out there trying to hurt someone and manipulate them in such a way that makes you feel better. Trust me, even when you’re “successful” with such a thing, the satisfaction is temporary.
So what do you do when you feel like he got away with what he did to you? You’re the one suffering, and he’s living his best life, and it’s not fair. I know this feeling, Sis, and I’ve also tried different things to get back at them, but what worked the best?
I got it for you today! God will avenge you, Sis; but I believe there’s something you can do to really show him that he missed out on a good one, the real deal! Girrrrl, turn me up in those earbuds sis! It’s about to go down!
Oh, and just a reminder. Don’t forget you’ll be able to preorder my book on September 12, 2022.

Hey Sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about accepting healing instead making all the excuses as to why you can’t be healed. The scripture reference is John 5:5-8 (HCSB).
I know you’re tired of experiencing heartbreak after heartbreak while watching everyone else get the thing and have the life that you want while you’re still sitting and waiting for your turn. If this is true for you, go ahead and press play and listen up!

Hey Sis!
If you’ve been asking, “Where is my Boaz,” or maybe you’re just wondering, “Lord, when will you send my husband?” This episode is for you!
I can’t wait for you to hear today’s episode. This one is a bit more fun and a little lighter than what we typically talk about. However, you are still going to learn a ton and walk away with some powerful wisdom.
We are going to take a deeper look at Ruth’s story to find out how things really happened between her and Boaz.
If you’re single and wondering when your turn for love and marriage will come, turn me up in those earbuds so I can talk to you about getting in position. Let’s get into it!

Hey Sis!
Surprise! You’re getting another episode this week! Just a short quick “minisode.”
After our last episode with Erika Diaz Castro, I wanted to elaborate on something we were discussing at the end of it, which is our daily bread.
We tend to talk about daily bread in terms of getting God’s Word everyday. While that is true, our daily bread is the thing we need from God each day; and it can be different from day to day.
Join me in today’s minisode as I dig a little deeper into this.
Also, Sis, I need to talk to you! No, I mean really sit down and talk to you. You have been so incredible by showing support for the show, and I want to make sure I’m doing my best to serve you. Therefore, I need to know what you need.
I want to chat with you via Zoom if:
–you’re a single woman struggling to move on after a breakup
–you’re not sure how to deal with the hurt from the heartbreak of a romantic relationship with a guy
–because of this heartbreak, you feel stuck in life, like you can’t move on to what’s next for you
If this is you, email me at goodbyeheartbreakhellopurpose@gmail.com so we can schedule a time to chat. If this is not you, but you know someone in this situation who may be able to participate, please share this information with them.
This will only take about 10 to 15 minutes, and I promise I won’t try to sell you anything at any point lol. I’ll be doing this from now until next week (August 31st).
And WAIT! If you participate, you will get 50% off my soon to be released book Goodbye Heartbreak Hello Purpose, which is a 365 day devotional that will be released October 1st.
I appreciate you so much sis! You are truly amazing!

Hey Sis!
I know part 1 of Erika’s story had you on the edge of your seat! We are picking up with the rest of her story today. So if you haven’t listened to part 1, don’t press play here until you listen to it.
Here’s a reminder about who Erika is. Erika is a wife, mom, and the host of the podcast, Her Renewed Strength. Erika is also known as your Jesus-loving Puerto Rican life coach, and she helps anxious, burnt out, overwhelmed Christian women go from discouraged, disorganized, and disoriented to clear-headed, confident and consistent; so they can steward their time, gifts, and resources well and boldly serve the Lord!
Today, Erika is going to share how she maneuvered through one of the most difficult seasons of her life one day at a time with God. Erika is not only a survivor but a thriver! With all that she went through, she was able to go from being desperate for healing to finding purpose on the other side of her pain.
Sis! I know I don’t have to tell you! You know for yourself this is going to be a good one. Put your earbuds and let’s listen!

Hey Sis!
I hope you enjoyed part 1 of this episode last week! I get very riled up in today’s episode because, if I must be honest, the devil really just gets on my last nerve. I am so sick of him, but I’m not playing with him anymore.
We are here to serve hell notice that we are not staying in this broken place! We are rising up, and we are ready to fight! Here’s a reminder from last week (along with this week’s scriptures):
Did you know you’re on the enemy’s hit list? If you didn’t know, I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this; but he’s watching you! He knows that you’re walking through a difficult season right now, but he also knows you’re doing what’s necessary to heal your heart–and he doesn’t like that!
The enemy is mad and hell is nervous! He knows if you are truly healed and set free, you will be a force to be reckoned with. He knows the stronger you get, the less power he has over you, so he’s giving it all he’s got to keep weak and heartbroken!
Psst…I got something for you Sis! Something that is guaranteed to bring you victory in this season! I have hand picked scriptures straight from the Bible for you to stand on in this season and for you to fight the enemy…and WIN!
There’s so much rich information in this episode that I had to break it up into two episodes because I want you to fully digest the information I’m giving you today. That way you can be more effective in this battle with the enemy.
Here are the scriptures we will use in today’s episode”
Romans 8:28 (AMP)
1 Peter 5:7
John 3:16
Hebrew 12:5-6
Take your shoes off, put your earbuds in, and prepare to start slicing and dicing, Sis! We’re about to get it!!!
