GOODBYE HEARTBREAK, HELLO HEALING, Healing Broken Hearts, Empowering Women, Scriptural Healing, Find Your Love, Single Women, Christian Singles

Do you feel heartbroken over a recent breakup? Did you think he was “the one”, but it turned out to be another failed relationship? Are you feeling like you’ll never find “the one” for you? Do you wish God would just bring the right man along so you can be happy? In this podcast I will share my journey of looking for love in all the wrong places to finally finding the true love I needed and how that led to me getting into the right position to be married. I had a lot of work to do in my single season. When I finally put God first in my life and truly gave Him my heart, I became content as a single woman. Then, and only then was I ready for marriage. I will share all my tips and insight on healing and moving on after painful breakups, growing close to God during heartbreak, and how to get into position to have the deepest desires of your heart (i.e., marriage, children, etc.). If you’re ready to ditch that broken heart for healing and wholeness, you’re in the right place. Hey Sis! I’m Kandice–a faith-led wife and mother of 3. I’m carrying out the call God placed on my life by helping women heal and move forward after breakups. While I love my life now, this wasn’t always the case. I remember being single, thriving in my career as a school psychologist, and faking a smile everyday. People thought I had it all together on the outside, but inside I had a broken heart and was unfulfilled with my life. The cycle of failed relationships began to make me have thoughts like, “What’s wrong with me?” and “Why am I not enough?” I desperately wanted to find the right man for me and get married. So I went from relationship to relationship; but instead of finding my soulmate with whom I would spend the rest of my life, I found disappointment and more heartbreak. Then, in 2015, my heart was shattered, and I knew something had to change. I finally realized that if I was ever going to truly heal my heart and be fulfilled, I was going to have to partner with God in the healing process. Through healing and connection with God, I finally felt whole and complete. I learned the proper way to heal and grow my relationship with God, and I want to help you do the same. Plus I have tips to help you get ready for future relationships, so when the right one comes along, you’ll be complete and lacking nothing. If you are ready to finally heal your heart, stop going from failed relationship to failed relationship, and grow your relationship with God in the midst of it, all while becoming the woman you want to be who is ready when the right man comes along–this is definitely the podcast for you. Sis, kick off those cute shoes that’s been hurting your feet all day and turn me up in those earbuds, we’re about to get into it! 034. Minisode: Perspective

Wednesday Sep 21, 2022

Wednesday Sep 21, 2022

Hey Sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday in the month of September, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about having God’s perspective. The scripture reference is 2 Kings 6:15-17 (NIV).
Today’s scripture is one of my favorite accounts in the Bible. It’s miraculous, but so encouraging how a simple prayer in times of trouble can totally help us change our perspective in the moment. Then, we are able to move with more peace and confidence. This devotion is great! Turn me up Sis!

🚨🚨Trigger Warning🚨🚨
Today we are talking about a sensitive topic. It’s suicide prevention month; and as a mental health professional, I think it’s important to highlight the topic. If you or someone you know struggle with suicidal thoughts and need help, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
As we wrap up our episodes to highlight Suicide Awarness/Prevention Month, I have a special guest, Katina L. Adams, who is here to share her experience with losing the love of her life to suicide. She shares her journey from her sufferings to her victories.
A little about Katina. Katina is indeed a child of God. She is the mother of 3 beautiful girls. She is a passionate real estate agent with Keller Williams. She’s also working on her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and is really close to finishing, and she has done lots of work to spread awareness about suicide prevention.
Katina’s story may make you shed tears but also make you realize that we are all more resilient than we think. And if you lost a loved one to suicide, Katina’s story will give you hope that brighter days are ahead.

Hey sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday in the month of September, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about healing through forgiveness. The scripture reference is Matthew 5:44-45 (NLT).
Are you harboring unforgiveness right now, thinking that your ex doesn’t deserve your forgiveness? The truth is, when you don’t forgive, you’re not hurting the other person. You’re only hurting yourself. It’s time to release that person and forgive so you can heal.

Hey Sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday in the month of September, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about not being okay all the time and how God can handle us expressing our emotions to Him. The scripture reference is Job 3:3 (AMP).
If you think just because you’re a Christian that you’re not allowed to have negative emotions, you’re mistaken. God created you with all the different emotions you experience. Yes, even the “bad” emotions. If you think you have to be positive all the time or that God can’t handle the way you really feel! This devotion is just for you!

026. Minisode: Expose the Pain

Wednesday Sep 07, 2022

Wednesday Sep 07, 2022

Hey Sis!
In honor of my October 1st book launch, I will be reading excerpts from the book every Monday and Wednesday in the month of September, right here on the Podcast.
Today’s excerpt talks about healing by feeling. The scripture reference is Proverbs 14:13 (NLT).
If you think you’re helping yourself by numbing the pain from that breakup, think again! The only way you’re really going to be able stop the pain and heal, it may seem counterintuitive, you have to feel the pain. You have to expose the pain for what it really is, so it can be treated properly. So turn me up in those earbuds! We’re on a healing journey!

Hey Sis!
Today’s episode is juicy! Be honest! I know you want to get back at your ex who hurt you and broke your heart. Maybe that’s a natural feeling that comes from our flesh, but what should we really do?
Sis, I don’t want you out there trying to hurt someone and manipulate them in such a way that makes you feel better. Trust me, even when you’re “successful” with such a thing, the satisfaction is temporary.
So what do you do when you feel like he got away with what he did to you? You’re the one suffering, and he’s living his best life, and it’s not fair. I know this feeling, Sis, and I’ve also tried different things to get back at them, but what worked the best?
I got it for you today! God will avenge you, Sis; but I believe there’s something you can do to really show him that he missed out on a good one, the real deal! Girrrrl, turn me up in those earbuds sis! It’s about to go down!
Oh, and just a reminder. Don’t forget you’ll be able to preorder my book on September 12, 2022.
