107. Dealing With Divorce, Motherhood, and A Broken Heart with Lashonda Dean, Part 2
Hey Sis!
So we started this conversation with my Sis Lashonda a couple of days ago. If you missed part 1, go back and listen to episode 106.
Are you heartbroken from a divorce? Are you dealing with a broken heart while also trying to be a good mom to your kids? Today’s guest knows all about it. Meet Lashonda:
Lashonda is a graduate of UL Lafayette and strategic thought leader, who values connection through relationship building . As a Senior Consultant at CGI, an international technology consulting company, Lashonda is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Business partner team. She supports the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility opportunities, including STEM programming and pathways across the US. To further impact the CGI business culture, Lashonda also serves as part of the leadership team for the Working Caregivers member resource group. She is a certified professional project manager, skilled presenter and facilitator and a recent graduate of Leadership Institute of Acadiana's Leadership Lafayette, class XXXIV. To support her community, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana and in various leadership capacities at her local church, Destiny of Faith. With a strong background in sales, creative development, leadership and as a mom, Lashonda highly values the adaptability of agile principles in her personal and professional life. She spends her time serving, reading, writing, and raising her three incredible sons. In addition, Lashonda also shares her life experiences through her lifestyle brand and personal blog, Elle Dean. Lashonda is passionate about helping others live a life they deserve and love whether through inspiration, education, or in service. My philosophy is simple; when you are committed to doing good work, with compassion, honesty, and Faith, you will never lose.
Lashonda opens up even more about how she made it through her season of heartbreak and divorce while also caring for her 3 boys. I love her openness and vulnerability. There is so much to learn from Lashonda, even if you’ve never been married or you’re not a mom.
