074. Minisode--He’s Crafty: Don’t Dialogue

Hey Sis!

We have gone through so much of my book in 2022–4 parts to be exact. Now we will kick off part 5–Gaining Wisdom.  

Today’s devotion is about how the devil makes us question the things God told us. The scripture reference is Genesis 3:1 (NIV).

God gives us wisdom. The Holy Spirit speaks truth to us and guides us on our paths. There are times the enemy will come in and make us doubt what God told us by presenting a different and more enticing option.

We have to be wise enough to make sure we know the devil is real and he seeks to destroy us, and we have to be wise enough to know that God’s way is always best. So when God speaks a Word to you, and temptation comes, know that the temptation is not from God.

Eve did not act in wisdom when she began this conversation with her enemy. She took the bait, and boy, did she pay the price. We are all capable of making the same mistake that Eve made. So don’t let the devil get in your head.
